No official announcement had been made at the time of writing about the move to support Bitcoin, but Microsoft did quietly post a how-to guide on its website

Bitcoin payments for Microsoft products are currently only supported in the U.S.; users must first add bitcoins to their accounts before redeeming them for regulated U.S. dollars prior to making a purchase ...

If you've been using Google Maps — also a free, and often pre-installed, Android app — for your GPS navigation needs, you might wonder what would be the point of installing Nokia's offering. The YouTube app on Apple TV just got a few big upgrades, including (for the first time) full access to all of the video-sharing site's content library

Apple's set-top box now includes all YouTube videos; in the past, the catalog was limited and didn't include much of YouTube's more popular content. Searching for a popular music video, for example, might yield results for parodies and covers, but not the song from the original artist. That shouldn't be a problem anymore, according to YouTube.

The YouTube app update for Apple TV also includes a predictive search function, personalized recommendations and the option to subscribe to accounts directly through the set-top box. In a video that highlights the new features (above), YouTube says the upgrade will bring the "full YouTube experience" to users' TVs. ...
