There are hundreds of recipes available, as well as the option to create your own. From posting an image to Twitter (without it just showing up as a link) to automatically uploading pics to a Facebook album, the possibilities are endless.

Developers divided over virtual reality at gaming conference

In a sea of booths, tethered smartphones and developers at this week's Game Developers Conferences (GDC) in San Francisco, virtual reality had another “moment."

Virtually everywhere you looked, VR reared its headSony showed off an updated version of its headset, Project Morpheus, due out the first half of next year. Smartphone maker HTC trotted out a headset called Vive for a holiday 2015 release

Fitbit acquires FitStar for personalized workouts

Fitbit is buying FitStar, an app that specializes in crafting custom exercise programs based on a user's body data and activity history.

The two companies have been working together to integrate each other's services for a while, and in the wake of the deal those connections will deepen. Although the two will remain separate apps in the near-term, FitStar users will be able to publish their workouts immediately to the Fitbit app, and soon the apps will have single sign-on between them.

Fitbit is often regarded as an entry-level fitness tracker, but the broad appeal of the company's products (whose market share is a dominant 72%, according to NPD) occasionally garners criticism that they have little to offer people interested in more serious training. ...
